How do I use it?

Click the neighborhood regions on the left menu to see find your neighborhood. Select a neighborhood to see news, links and photos and where the items are located in our community. Or click on the categories farther down the left menu to display items from a particular topic like Sports & Recreation. You can add your own news, photos or links by clicking "Add your news, photos, links" and filling out the simple form.

What's this all about?

This is a web site that tells you what's happening in your neighborhood and you get to see - on a map - exactly where it's happening.

After all, the Web is really good at telling you about lots of things, but what's going on in your neighborhood is not one of them. My Renton changes that by helping you see what's going on around you. So instead of visiting several different sites for news, local blogs and other information, you find links to the stuff that matters most to you (because it's closest to you).

Drive readers to your site

If you have a local blog or web site, use My Renton to grow your audience. Simply click "Add your news, photos, links" and add a link to your content so it's placed on the My Renton map. Then other My Renton users will find your content and visit your site.

You make it better

The more information you share on My Renton, the more beneficial it will be for our community and your neighborhood. You add your own items by clicking on "Add your news, photos, links" and simply filling in the blanks.

Do I have to register?

Yes, but it's as painless as we could make it. Click "Sign Up" and enter a username, a password and an email address and you're good to go. Of, if you're a Facebook user, log in with your Facebook account information.
